Ndiaye has score six Premier League goals and has regularly Everton’s most dangerous attacking weapon in a season which saw them really struggle for goals until David Moyes’ return to the dugout.

Any absence for the former Sheffield United man would be of serious concern as Everton are already struggling with a number of injuries, especially in attack.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti are all currently out, leaving Moyes’ options up top very limited.

As the clash with Liverpool was a rearrange fixture it is a busy month for the Toffees, who face Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Brentford in the Premier League before the end of February.
